simfy Player for Facebook: Users can play millions of songs on the network

Facebook members can now listen to and post their favorite songs directly on their profile, thanks to the new Facebook Player by simfy.

Cologne, Germany; June 1, 2011. The simfy Player for Facebook is a new service for the network's German, Austrian, and Swiss users. The company is planning to expand into other territories in the third quarter and offer the Facebook player to users in those countries as well.

The Player gives music fans direct access to over eight million songs from simfy and allows them to listen to and post these songs on Facebook and share them with their friends. The music portal offers the industry's first extensive music catalog on Facebook, with licensing of all major and leading independent labels. Speculation in the sector about such a service had been rife. simfy with its experience and technical know-how is now the first to deliver that kind of social music experience.

Users can easily listen to and share music with their friends on Facebook using simfy's music streaming service, whether it is albums, songs or playlists. Their friends can directly play the shared music on-demand. It's a perfect additional feature for the social network, and one which users are sure to love.
