Comprehensive Update: simfy App for iPhone Radically Renewed

Comprehensive remake of the simfy iPhone app: with its new version, simfy responds to user requests and presents new functions as well as a revised user interface.

Cologne, Germany; August 11, 2011. The music portal simfy has radically renewed its iPhone app. In addition to a revised user interface, the app has been significantly improved in terms of stability and speed.

"The iPhone app has become much more intuitive. We have renewed the entire user interface: the app is not only faster and more stable, it is also much easier to use", Gerrit Schumann, CEO of simfy, explains.

What is especially remarkable: for the first time, entire albums, all marked favorites and created playlists can immediately be downloaded for the offline mode. Another novelty is the integrated "Discover" area, enabling users to browse for new releases and genre classics on their cell phones.

Additionally, there is a new feature for the playful kind among music lovers: users can now shuffle their current playlist by shaking the cell phone. The fundamentally revised user navigation also includes swiping - moving the finger across the display - in a more intuitive manner. This especially facilitates the selection of and change between context menus while the music keeps on playing.

With the new edition of the iPhone app, simfy significantly improves its current software range which has additionally been extended by a native app for the iPad recently.
