Insights - what our staff say about simfy

Narti, Managerin Reporting and Content

"Statistics? Programming? Metadata? I majored in Southeast Asian studies. Until I started my job at simfy, I had virtually no experience with any of these things.

Since I had gained some experience in customer service and marketing while I was at university, a job advertisement in simfy's customer service department initially appealed to me. Due to overlaps, I was then offered a position in reporting, and I accepted the challenge.

In my first year at simfy, I built our reporting activities for external partners and internal use, and today juggle millions of data records every day along with my co-workers to provide all the participants involved in our platform with the statistics they need. In addition, I analyze our content partners' metadata so that users can later find all the important information about artists and their releases on our site. I am also responsible for ensuring that our office is always stocked with snacks!

What I value in particular about working at simfy is the friendly interaction between people, and the fact that I can work independently, but at the same time receive support anytime I need it."

"I work in the support team at simfy. Together with my team, I ensure that our users are happy. I help them with all types of inquiries and quickly find a solution to any problem. What makes simfy "the place to be"? Resolving a wide variety of interesting questions with a great team, and putting a smile on users' faces as a result!

Tim, Manager New Business

Tim, Manager New Business

"I became Manager New Business at simfy immediately after completing my studies in international marketing. From the beginning my co-workers had a lot of confidence in me. My job at simfy is to develop new models for cooperation and strategic partnerships in Germany and beyond. In my first six months, I was already independently participating in international meetings with potential business partners and negotiating eye-to-eye with top-level executives. That's something I never expected in my first post-university job!"

Daniela, Executive Assistant

Daniela, Executive Assistant

"I was warmly accepted as a new member of the simfy team and felt welcomed right from the start. I can contribute my ideas and make suggestions in our company anytime.

At first, I worked as a receptionist at simfy, but after a few months I was offered the position of executive assistant. I like my job because it's exciting, interesting, and always different. In fact, some days, I have no idea what to expect!"

Dirk, Marketing Analyst

Dirk, Marketing Analyst

"Being a musicologist (M.A.) I initially joined the company about three years ago to work as editor, content developer and content manager for our live music services.

Apart from my musical interest I was always some kind of a number cruncher. So as it turned out marketing analytics soon became my main task.

In a team of two analysts we're in charge of delivering the latest numbers, insights, and developments to our product development and marketing departments. Based on abstract data and oodles of parameters we compile understandable analyses for the whole b2c team.

Besides my day-to-day job I act as lead singer, musical director and lead guitarist of our very own internal simfy band 'Brötchen sind da!' - we're all music maniacs in some way or other."
